Year 2 Teacher / KS1 Teacher - Weston-super-Mare

Start: ASAP or April for the right candidate
Full-Time contract running to the end of academic year

Opportunity for a Permanent contract from September 2026
M1M6 Salaries (£150 £ 220 per day equivalent)
TLR on offer for the right candidate

Were currently working with a great primary school in Weston-super-Mare who are looking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher / KS1 Teacher from after February half term through to the end of the academic year. The school could wait until Easter for the right candidate.

The school is graded Outstanding and has built a strong reputation locally. Its well-led, well-organised and a place where staff feel supported and valued. Theres a real team ethos people muck in, support one another and take pride in what they do. Because of this, staff retention is strong.

This role is a full class teaching position in Year
2. Planning and marking responsibilities are included, and youll be supported by an experienced SLT and established KS1 team. For the right person, there is scope to take on additional responsibility, with a TLR available.

The school is looking for someone who:

Holds QTS

Has experience teaching in KS1 (Year 2 experience desirable)

Has strong classroom management and clear expectations

Plans engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Wants to contribute to the wider school community
