Competitive, based on experience Make a Real Difference as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Weston Super Mare M&M Supply is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in Weston Super Mare.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a pupil who requires additional support, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You will play a key role in supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour management.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day
• Support learning activities and adapt tasks to meet individual needs
• Implement behaviour and support strategies in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs
• Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in learning
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

• Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, SEN, or similar)
• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
• Teaching Assistant qualifications (Level 2/3, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
