Why not join us as a Lecturer in Health and Safety, working 1 day per week (7.4 hours). Interviews for this role will take place on‑site, at one of our college campuses in Weston‑super‑Mare.
As a Lecturer in Health and Safety, you will be delivering high quality teaching and assessment, including the application of relevant legislation, regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and guidance.
There will be a focus on hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control and enforcement decision making.
Responsibilities- Deliver high quality teaching and assessment, applying relevant legislation, regulations and Approved Codes of Practice.
- Focus on hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control and enforcement decision making.
- Ensure delivery meets the requirements of relevant professional bodies including CIEH, Skills England and IOSH.
- Provide tutorship of students, giving appropriate support to enable them to achieve their goals.
- A degree level qualification.
- A relevant Health and Safety related qualification.
- Relevant professional industry experience.
- A willingness to undertake a teaching qualification if this is not already held.
