Clinical Teaching Fellow - Complex Medicine

Are you GMC registered? Have you worked in the NHS as a Doctor for at least 2 years? Are you interested in teaching? University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Teaching Fellow Y4 to join the experienced team in North Somerset Academy at Weston General Hospital. This post offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in Medical Education while maintaining clinical experience in a supportive learning environment.

Clinical Teaching Fellows play a key role in delivering Undergraduate Medical Education for University of Bristol medical students. This role covers Year 4.

• 8 teaching sessions per week:
  Teaching, tutoring, and pastoral support
• 2 clinical sessions per week: in Care of the Elderly department
• Opportunity to complete a funded Postgraduate Medical Education Certificate (from an approved list)
• Involvement in educational research, welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
