We have one position available: 32.9 hours per week, term‑time only. This role will be based at South West Skills campus, supporting Motor Vehicle and Construction learners. The proposed working pattern is as follows:
- Monday and Tuesday: 08:00am – 04:00pm
- Wednesday and Thursday: 08:30am – 03:00pm
- Friday: 08:30am – 04:30pm
No two days are the same. One morning you might be delivering a group tutorial session on digital wellbeing, and in the afternoon helping a student secure their first work placement. Later in the week you could be working with colleagues to plan new and innovative ways for learners to develop life skills and knowledge. You’ll be a trusted guide for students, working closely with curriculum teams and support staff to make sure every learner feels motivated, supported, and ready for their next steps.
Qualifications- Have experience working with young people or adults in an education or support setting.
- Awareness of issues shaping learners’ lives and work today.
- Understand the challenges young people face as they progress through education and into work.
- Are organised, motivated, and able to engage and inspire others.
Interviews for this role will take place on‑site, at one of our college campuses in Weston‑super‑Mare.
