Worle Community School is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our school staff team. This vital role focuses on creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students during their daily break times – lunch and break.

As part of this role, you will:
  • Daily responsibilities include supervising students in the restaurant area and outside spaces; you will actively encourage independence by helping children develop good eating manners, proper cutlery usage, and positive habits.
  • Supervisors also monitor student movement to keep the premises secure, manage dining hall setups, clean light spillages, and administer simple first aid when necessary (training provided).
  • The ideal candidate possesses experience supervising children, preferably within a school context.
You will be someone who:
  • Experience of working within a school is ideal but not essential.
  • Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Patient, motivated, flexible and adaptable.
