An opportunity to provide flexible, casual support to the academy team during busy exam periods.

We are seeking an Exam Invigilator to join our supportive and dedicated team at Hans Price Academy. Due to an increase in exam access arrangements, we require an additional invigilator to support a growing number of rooms and pupils across the academy.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting students of all abilities, ensuring exams are conducted in a calm, fair and compliant environment.

As a casual role, you will work when available and be called upon during key exam periods. Invigilators are asked to commit to our exam windows, which total approximately 10–12 weeks across the academic year.

About the Role:

  • Mock exams across different year groups
  • External exam periods in November, January and March
  • Summer exams during May and June
  • Working hours may vary, as exam environments need to be set up before the school day begins and can occasionally run beyond the end of the school day.

  • Possess strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to unexpected situations
  • Demonstrate a caring, patient and understanding approach, with sensitivity to students’ individual needs
  • Be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently

Applicants are advised to refer to the full requirements of the role in the attached job description and person specification, prior to submitting an application.
