Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience and assignment
You will deliver engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum, maintain a positive learning environment and provide continuity for pupils. Depending on the placement, responsibilities may include planning, marking and assessment.
You will be:- Delivering high-quality lessons across your specialist phase or subject
- Adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Maintaining a calm, purposeful and well-managed classroom environment
- Following school policies, curriculum guidance and safeguarding procedures
- Working collaboratively with school staff and supporting pupil progress
- Providing professional and reliable cover from September
- Qualified with UK QTS
- Experienced within a UK primary or secondary school setting
- Confident in classroom and behaviour management
- Flexible, organised and dependable
- Available for work in Weston-super-Mare from September
- Strong communicators who work well as part of a school team
- UK QTS
- Relevant classroom experience
- Enhanced DBS on the updated service, or willingness to apply for one
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
