Domestic Care Assistant

The role of a Domestic Care Assistant at Agincare Homes Holdings in Weston‑Super‑Mare involves cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the communal areas and residents' rooms, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for the care home residents. The successful candidate will work closely with the home management team and provide companionship and support to the residents.

As a Domestic Care Assistant, you will be responsible for communal cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming residents' bedrooms, and collaborating with the home management team to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. You will also provide support, communication, and engagement to the residents.

• £12.25 per hour

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work

• Communal cleaning: ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
• Domestic tasks - dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
• Collaboration:
  
  work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Companionship: provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
