Registered Veterinary Nurse – Insurance Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Location: Weston-super-Mare, Somerset

Salary: £15,600 – £23,500 per annum DOE

This is a rewarding, non-clinical RVN role where you will take full ownership of veterinary insurance claims
, supporting pets, clients, and the clinical team. If you have experience processing insurance claims within a veterinary practice and enjoy organisation, client communication, and problem-solving, this role offers genuine responsibility and work-life balance.

Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will manage all insured client accounts and act as the primary point of contact for insurance-related matters.

• Process and submit veterinary insurance claims accurately and efficiently
• Liaise directly with insurance companies to support timely claim resolution
• Provide clear, empathetic communication to clients regarding claims
• Monitor and manage insured debt tracking
• Resolve claim queries and internal clarifications
• Support the practice’s mission of “What’s best for the pet”

This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys administrative responsibility while remaining integral to patient care and client experience.

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered)
• Proven experience processing veterinary insurance claims
