Job title:

Senior Care Assistant.

Location:

Weston-super-Mare area. You will work as part of the care team to provide person-centred care and support to residents.

Responsibilities
  • You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence.
  • You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
  • You will administer residents' medication in a safe and compliant way.
  • You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
  • You may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 3 or Health and Social Care qualification or be working towards it.
  • Must be flexible to work 48 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
