Ashcombe Court supports an 8‑bedded home for mental health, autism, acquired brain injury and learning disabilities, providing support with everyday living skills such as shopping, cleaning and cooking. Our staff help people have fun and make every day the best it can be for each person.

Job Role: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Weston-super-Mare BS23

Hours: 35 per week

Salary: £13.20 - £13.90 per hour

Role Overview

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be involved in the day‑to‑day support and routine of the people within the service, including:

  • Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with healthcare needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

Experience with in the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.
