Job Overview

Agincare is delighted to announce the new Sedgemoor Care Home in Weston‑Super‑Mare. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head Chef to join our friendly and professional team at this welcoming 40‑bed residential care home.

• Plan menus with the home manager and residents.
• Collaborate with the wider staff to meet residents’ nutritional and dietary needs, including modified textures and allergies.
• Act as the main point of contact for the kitchen and manage day‑to‑day stock and hygiene standards.

• £14.00 per hour
• Refer‑a‑friend scheme – earn up to £1,000
• Fully funded training up to QCF level 5

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work
• Available to work 27 hours per week, including alternate weekends
• Background in kitchen operations and understanding of professional kitchen management
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience with complex dietary requirements is desirable.
