TSR Legal are pleased to be representing an established and highly regarded law firm in Somerset, which is experiencing continued growth and a significant increase in new residential property instructions. As a result, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their friendly and supportive team based in Weston‑super‑Mare.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a CQS‑accredited firm that genuinely puts clients at the heart of what they do. The successful candidate will work closely alongside experienced Partners within a collaborative environment that actively supports professional development and long‑term career progression.

You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload while also playing a key role in supporting the wider department.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and first registrations
• Supporting Partners with the supervision and development of more junior team members
• Assisting with marketing and business development initiatives to raise both personal and departmental profile
• Providing a high standard of client care, with regular client contact including face‑to‑face meetings
• Tailoring advice to each client's individual needs and best interests
• Making effective use of administrative and support resources to ensure matters progress efficiently
• Maintaining responsibility for day‑to‑day financial management on files, with support from an experienced accounts team
• Ensuring files are fully compliant, accurate and up to date (both electronic and physical)
• Preparing legal documentation and correspondence using Microsoft Office and the firm's case management system
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and data security at all times

The firm is keen to speak with conveyancers who can demonstrate:

• A minimum of 3 years' PQE (or equivalent experience)
• Recent experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently within a busy department
• Strong communication and client care skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive, flexible and professional approach
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence working both autonomously and as part of a team
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems
