MET Technician

MET Technician - Motor Vehicle, Weston-super-Mare (near Bristol)

We're looking for an experienced MET Technician to become a vital part of our friendly and professional team. If you have a passion for vehicle inspections and repairs and want to work in a supportive, well-equipped environment, this role could be perfect for you.

• Competitive salary of £16 to £19 per hour (£640 - £760 basic per week based on 40 hours) plus a bonus for time saved
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week - no weekends!

• Conduct mechanical, electrical and technical inspections and repairs on vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot using specialist diagnostic equipment
• Carry out routine maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and performance
• Work collaboratively with the team to exceed customer expectations
• Keep your workspace clean and compliant with safety and quality standards

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ in Automotive Engineering
