Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Facilities Coordinator to be at the heart of our warehousing and transportation services, ensuring our facilities run efficiently and safely.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance across multiple sites.
- Support procurement by sourcing quotes, raising purchase orders, and building business cases.
- Escort and coordinate contractors to complete maintenance works to the highest standard.
- Manage maintenance logs and ensure compliance with site protocols.
- Oversee Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including cataloguing assets and scheduling services.
- Experience in facilities management and basic repair work using hand tools.
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and external contractors.
- Ability to analyse data and identify cost‑saving opportunities through continuous improvement.
- High attention to detail and compliance with safety standards.
- IOSH certification or working towards IOSH (Essentials). Basic MS Office skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset (driving licence required).
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company‑sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.
Work HoursThis is a full‑time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:00 till 16:00 with occasional Saturday work when required. Some flexibility is required, as logistics after all!
