We're looking for a Workshop Controller to handle breakdown calls, book services, and keep repairs moving across a busy plant workshop.
What You'll Do
- Handle breakdown calls and try to fix simple issues over the phone
- Allocate jobs to fitters and keep records up to date
- Arrange external repairs when needed
- Support fitters with parts and job info
- Book services and inspections and plan fitter availability
- Flag chargeable damage and process customer invoices
- Keep stock and service logs accurate
- Experience in service/maintenance control
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident phone manner
- Able to stay calm under pressure
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Good Microsoft skills
