We are recruiting for a Team Leader to oversee a supported housing service in North Somerset, covering Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare.

You will typically manage a team of 2-3 (up to 6 as the service expands).

About the Service

The service provides temporary supported accommodation for adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing mental health challenges and need support to move towards independent living.
Residents can typically stay for up to 24 months, receiving tailored support to develop their confidence, maintain their tenancies and reconnect with their communities.

Weston-super-Mare: A shared house with 10 private bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, plus communal areas.
Clevedon:

The service is experiencing steady, sustainable growth, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to its continued development.

The Role

As Team Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of both services, ensuring residents receive high-quality, recovery-focused support.

You will lead, supervise and develop a small team of support staff, helping them deliver effective interventions that promote tenancy sustainment, independent living and positive outcomes for residents.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the day-to-day operation and development of both services.
Leading, supervising, coaching and developing support staff and volunteers.
Supporting staff recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
Monitoring service performance, KPIs, targets and contractual requirements.
Overseeing referrals and ensuring residents receive appropriate support.
Building effective relationships with housing providers, social services, mental health teams and other external agencies.
Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, risk management and service standards are maintained.
Supporting residents to develop independent living skills, manage their accommodation and prepare for a successful move into independent housing.
Deputising for the Area Manager when required.
You may also hold a small caseload when needed to support service delivery.
