Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – 12-Month Maternity Cover

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a supportive and award-winning small‑animal team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering gold‑standard care and thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

As an RVN, you will work within a well‑structured nursing team, fully utilising your skills across a wide range of clinical responsibilities. You’ll be supported by senior nursing staff and encouraged to develop your abilities while contributing to high standards of patient care.

• Nurse consults and nurse‑led operating days
• Patient care and inpatient monitoring
• Dentistry and imaging (including access to advanced diagnostic equipment)
• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team
• Participating in the Out‑of‑Hours rota when required
• Maintaining excellent standards in line with best practice and clinical protocols

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with RCVS registration
• Minimum 2 years’ veterinary nursing experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive attitude and desire to progress clinically
• Flexibility to support team and service needs
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient and client care

Standard working pattern is 40 hours across 4 days per week, with shared weekend duties. Flexible working options can be discussed for the right candidate.

Up to £32,000 per year DOE
