Retail Supervisor – Full Time

Location:

Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

Hours:

39 hours per week, 5 days (flexible, including weekends). Pay: £13.61 per hour. Guaranteed minimum hours, so you earn at least £530 per week. Overtime may be available.

• Important part of the management team; support the manager to lead the shop and provide excellent service.
• Take full responsibility for the shop in the manager’s absence: ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are maintained for safety and cleanliness.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop retail assistants.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• People person who is easy to get on with everyone and can build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable; can be relied upon by the team and customers.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Completion of an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if successful (checks are conducted via email once hired).
