Vice President of Graduate and Professional Student Affairs and Enrollment
The Vice President of Graduate and Professional Student Affairs and Enrollment (VP) will oversee a broad suite of programs serving adult learners, totaling approximately $50M in annual revenue. The VP is responsible for all aspects of marketing, enrollment, and student services for close to 3,000 students across graduate, doctoral, bachelor completion, and certificate programs. Reporting to the COO and working closely with academic leadership and other members of the President’s Cabinet, the VP is a primary strategist and innovator, growing enrollment in forty existing campus-based and online programs while also overseeing the Division of Professional Studies that focuses on certificate and bachelor completion programs.
ResponsibilitiesInclude
- Ensure that program marketing budgets are developed, campaigns are dynamic and support annual enrollment goals, and best practices in digital marketing are implemented. Work closely with the VP of Marketing and Communications to ensure the Regis brand and competitive advantage are reflected across all channels.
- Project enrollment and revenue for each program, hone projections throughout the year, and analyze and adjust pricing against ROI and marketplace trends.
- Work with academic leadership to identify, research, and create new in-demand programs across all adult-serving degree categories and integrate pathways to graduate programs within undergraduate majors.
- Oversee admissions teams, ensuring technology maximizes operational efficiencies and best practices are applied.
- Oversee student services teams with a focus on retention, expanding professional advisors and career services roles.
- Serve as a primary strategist in determining the ideal mix of modality (online, hybrid, on campus) and continually refine formats to retain a competitive advantage.
- Oversee the OPM contract that drives over half of total gross revenue in the division, including participation in significant contract renegotiations.
- Serve as a primary contact for academic program directors, collaborating to update programs, pricing, marketing, and formats.
- Oversee the Professional Studies division that houses existing and new certificates, bachelor’s degree completion, and other stackable credentials for adult working populations.
- Work with academic leadership to eliminate barriers to enrollment and success, including streamlining transfer credit evaluation and credit for life experience.
- Manage OPM and other marketing and enrollment vendors supporting B2C and B2B strategies.
- Build new admissions and student services/advising teams exclusive to new programs.
- Ensure that Regis’ competitive advantage and mission are reflected in all programs and student services, focusing on industry relevance and access for underserved populations.
- Represent the university and President at public forums and with external industry groups.
- Serve as the primary outward face of Regis within the employer community to promote programs and solicit feedback on workforce needs.
- Contribute to university-wide strategic and operational decisions as a member of the President’s Cabinet.
- Interface regularly with board members across multiple enrollment and student services committees.
- Direct reports include the AVP of Graduate and Professional Student Affairs, the Dean of Graduate Admission, the Director of Online Operations, and the Online Business Systems Administrator—thirteen employees in total.
- Conduct all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Regis College policies, applicable laws, interview, hire, train, plan, appraise, reward, discipline, address complaints, and resolve problems.
- Product and brand marketing experience; higher education experience preferred.
- Experience managing an operation of at least $25M.
- Experience projecting revenue and managing operating budgets.
- Master’s or advanced degree required.
