American Traveler is seeking an Operating Room RN for an outpatient/same day surgery setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active WI or compact RN license.

• Acute care setting within an Ambulatory Surgery OR department with 6 suites
• Common cases include GI-endoscopy, podiatry, cataracts, sports medicine, GYN, urology, small vascular, and general surgery
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday,
• No weekend, call, or holiday requirements
• Some late shifts required each week to complete cases running behind schedule
• Scrubbing not required for RNs
• Charting performed in Cerner, which is transitioning to Epic
• Floating required to GI and OR cases at an outpatient surgery center, with possible assignments at the hospital OR on campus

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required
• GI-endoscopy and local monitoring experience a plus
• Cerner EMR experience not required; training provided

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a variety of outpatient surgical cases
• Blue scrubs provided by the facility
• Unit-specific orientation includes CBTs completed during the first week
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained prior to start date
• Department closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day, likely also Black Friday and December 24th
• Former Marshfield permanent staff must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local
