As a Bakery Clerk, you'll be at the heart of our bakery operations, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. You'll assist guests in finding the perfect bakery items, take special orders with precision, and package products with care. Your creativity will shine as you contribute to our bakery offerings, enhancing special occasions and everyday moments alike.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Helping guests find items, taking accurate orders for cakes and custom products, answering phone calls courteously, and handling special requests with care.
  • Merchandising:
    • Package and price items, maintain quality, and minimize waste.
    • Replenish products to ensure availability and appealing display standards.
    • Monitor and manage stock levels, restocking promptly.
  • Food Safety:
    • Ensure product freshness and presentation by rotating stock.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
    • Adhere to food safety protocols and keep accurate records.
    • Uphold Festival's quality standards.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
  • Commitment: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for absences.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Standing for extended periods of time (80% of the time).
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis (20% of the time).
  • Frequently near moving machinery (50% of the time).
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20% of the time).
Work Schedule

This position offers flexibility for both part-time and full-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on your availability.

  • Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates receive a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
