Potential Compensation: $100,000-$125,000

The Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting functions, manage a Staff Accountant, and play a key role in building out the team as we grow. This position offers significant opportunities for professional development, leadership, and involvement in strategic projects and initiatives.

• Lead accounting optimization and streamline systems
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end close.
• Manage and mentor a Staff Accountant; assist in scaling the team as the company grows.
  
  Implement and optimize automation tools and workflows (e.g., Alteryx, Python) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Streamline accounting processes and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with leadership on special projects and initiatives.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize Yardi for property management accounting functions.

• 5-10 years of accounting experience, CPA designation is preferred
• Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid‑tier firm) combined with real estate industry experience preferred.
• Strong technical skills with a focus on data automation and process improvement (Alteryx, Python, or similar tools).
• Proficiency in Yardi software is preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
