The Clinic Clerk performs clerical duties related to patient visits and clinic information/reception. Responsibilities include handling incoming calls, scheduling patients, preparing billing paperwork, filing, office correspondence, and sorting daily mail.

• High school diploma required; business courses preferred.
• Experience in a busy office setting with customer exposure (health care field preferred).
• Comprehension of medical terminology.
• High level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, staff, physicians, and management.
• Strong work ethic; exhibits optimism, cheerfulness, and promotes teamwork.
• Ability to work outside normal hours as demand requires.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative ability in an ever-changing environment to deliver quality customer service.
• Professional appearance and behavior.
• Excellent organization, priority setting, and multitasking.
• Keyboarding and computer knowledge (Microsoft Word/Excel/Access).
