About the RoleWe’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Operations Analyst to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage the full logistics lifecycle of our bulk sugar shipments — from vessel loading and discharge to documentation, customs, and final settlements. You’ll play a key part in keeping our global supply chain running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do- Coordinate all logistics activities for bulk sugar shipments — including loading, discharging, and customs processes.
- Monitor shipments closely to ensure all deliveries and receivables meet contractual terms.
- Spot potential logistics issues early and work to prevent or resolve them quickly.
- Manage final settlements with partners, including laytime, quality specs, and any related premiums or penalties.
- Review and process invoices for freight and other operational costs.
- Keep daily operations data up to date in internal spreadsheets and systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic records for all shipments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively engage others as necessary to resolve issues.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a high commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Effective and professional communication skills with ability to communicate with supply chain partners and suppliers.
- Detail oriented with high attention to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – minimum intermediate, PowerPoint, Word) required.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and general shipping practices required.
- Basic accounting skills are desirable.
- Fluency in second language, ideally Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or French preferred.

Benefits and CompensationBase salary ranging from $80,000-$130,000 commensurate with experience with bonus eligibility dependent on company and employee performance. CSC Sugar, LLC also offers a full range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, employer matched 401(k), and paid time-off.
