ACT​/SAT Test Prep Instructor

We are looking for an ACT/SAT Test Prep to prepare students for standardized testing.

Our team provides educational solutions for adolescents and children through individual assessment, personally tailored learning programs, and one‑on‑one coaching.

Predictable hours at a single office location:
Whenever possible, our work with students takes place at our headquarters in Westport, CT. Instructors are provided with a private classroom, a whiteboard, and all materials necessary for a productive session. No unpaid time as you drive from house to house!

Professional development:
We care about our staff and development of instructional skills. Our team of Directors have PhDs, Masters degrees, and other certifications to help you achieve your goals and help you gain mastery of your own instructional techniques. You will learn how to read students and pivot to address their needs by building up their weaknesses and harnessing their strengths.

• Teach!
• Collaborate with the Director of Test Prep in order to generate and execute specific plans for each student. All of our work is customized and tailored to the individual student.
• Assist the Director with the development of Test Prep curriculum and other special projects.
• Attend client‑specific case review meetings and convey feedback from sessions to the Director of Test Prep while maintaining confidentiality and security of client information.
• Interact with other departments in the organization, such as the Educational Therapy Department, to ensure coordinated service provision.
• Work 12:30 pm to 9 pm Monday through Thursday, and 11 am to 7:30 pm on Sundays.

• Have tutoring experience or an interest in pursuing a career in the field of education.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, show attention to detail, and exhibit the drive to help students succeed.
• Enjoy building relationships with students and respond to the needs of teenagers in a fast‑paced environment.

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation.
