- Take primary responsibility for all aspects of a client relationship, working closely to understand the financial situation and requirements. Meet with clients to form a financial plan, including expenses, income, investments and portfolio allocation, insurance coverage, goals, tax status, and risk tolerance.
- Conduct in-depth client reviews to uncover new business opportunities.
- Be an important member of the advisory team and provide financial planning and investment advice to clients ranging in age and wealth. Collaborate with other tax, legal, and insurance professionals to develop a client’s entire financial roadmap and ensure progress in achieving goals.
- Use the practice’s client‑centered wealth management philosophy to guide advisory services for individual clients and their families.
- Become active in the practice’s business development strategies and source new client relationships. Introduce our services and value proposition to prospective relationships.
- Build a wider network of clientele. Target and foster relationships with centers of influence (COI’s), new business opportunities, family offices, and other niche markets.
- Support the practice’s overall financial planning process with analysis and preparation of prospective and current clients’ planning and investments.
- Review client accounts to determine if adjustments are needed because of personal or financial changes.
- Contact clients and prospective clients with relevant information about market updates that may affect their investments. Systematically communicate with prospective clients and track progress.
- Be involved in your community while representing Hightower.
- Become a Trusted Advisor for our clients and Centers of Influence.
- BS degree in Finance or related field
- Industry designations: CFP, CIMA, CPA, or others
- Series 7 License; 65 or 66 licenses. Insurance licenses ideal.
- 5 or more years of experience in Financial Planning and/or Wealth Management.
- Knowledge of insurance/financial services industry, and markets across multiple asset classes.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Technical skills including financial planning software (eMoney), tax planning (Holistiplan), CRM (Salesforce), various investment platforms.
- Attitude of life‑long learning and intellectual curiosity.
- Relationship Builder. Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build immediate relationships.
- Team player able to work in a collegial and close collaboration environment.
- Experience delivering client‑focused solutions and developing efficient strategies to “power” complex and diverse advisor practices.
- Base salary, discretionary EOY bonus, plus incentive compensation/revenue sharing
