Rejuvenating Fertility Center is Manhattan and Connecticutʼs first non-conventional IVF center, founded by world-renowned Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist Dr. Zaher Merhi. Although Dr. Merhi has served Manhattan residents as an award-winning fertility expert for over 10 years, he has seen the shift in demands from his patients for excellent fertility centers (using non-conventional treatments) outside of the major cities. That is why he opened New RFC locations in Connecticut, Long Island, Westchesterand Brooklyn.

Sonographer

• Conduct ultrasounds utilizing various transducers, and ultrasound imaging equipment, and Doppler technology
• Measure endometrial lining thickness and follicle size for women undergoing IVF
• Take direction from the physicians regarding specific patient care
• Discern normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology
• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic OB/GYN/infertility ultrasound procedures utilizing various transducers
• Perform ultrasound procedures during embryo transfers, Doppler procedures, and 3D ultrasounds
• Recognize cross-sectional anatomy as demonstrated and differentiate normal/abnormal structures
• Provide education to patients about procedure performed and communicate information as appropriate to patient during visualization of anatomy
• Address concerns or abnormal findings with physician in a timely manner
• Communicate with physician, nurse practitioner, or nurse coordinator regarding ultrasound findings as noted and record them in EMR
• Clean equipment and exam beds between each patient use using a germicidal solution
• Re-order equipment and supplies as needed and reconcile packing slips for business office

• RDMS Certification
• (1) One year of GYN ultrasound experience
• Experience with GE Voluson P8, Samsung UGEO H60, Sono Arc R7, or Philips Clear Vue 650 (preferred; not required)
• Demonstrates compassionate and respectful behavior towards patient, family, visitors, peers and managers

• Takes individual responsibility for providing outstanding quality service

$40.00 - $50.00 hourly; based upon education and experience
