About the Job

Beyond Yoga’s flagship store in Westport, CT seeks a Store Manager to lead retail operations, coach a high-performing team, and enhance the in‑store experience. The manager will build community relationships, drive sales, and ensure visual merchandising and inventory standards.

• Lead the retail team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, driving employee engagement and collaborative selling.
• Analyze business performance (conversion, units per transaction, sales per hour, KPI’s) and develop actionable plans.
• Recruit, hire, compensate and, when necessary, terminate employees. Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with Beyond Yoga and Levi Strauss & Co. operational policies.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires on culture, product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Develop coaching plans and succession strategies to promote career growth.
• Manage payroll plans, schedules, and labor costs to meet business conditions.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, including receiving, ticketing, price changes, and loss prevention.
• Execute visual merchandising standards, adapt displays based on store layout, and tell the brand story.
• Maintain product levels on the sales floor through floor replenishment.
• Deliver a compelling customer experience, modeling sales and service behaviors.
• Build relationships with the local community and collaborate on events to increase brand engagement.

• Progressive retail leadership experience with proven coaching & training skills.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred). Excellent communication, collaboration, and growth mindset.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform walking, kneeling, squatting, and reaching overhead. Reasonable accommodations available.

• Self‑starter willing to learn new tools and adapt to new initiatives.

Estimated salary range: $64,700 – $107,900 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
