- Independently manage a portfolio of high value consumer clients and small business customers.
- Deepen relationships with new and existing customers through early engagement calls and regular outreach.
- Act as the expert on Santander products and services, articulating benefits based on customer needs.
- Assess customer needs, ask probing questions, and identify opportunities to help them achieve financial goals.
- Recommend and deliver needs‑based solutions, introducing key partners when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
- Participate in joint calling with product partners to generate and deepen relationships with business customers.
- Ensure an elevated customer experience with personalized, seamless, and attentive service.
- Engage customers through digital platforms to enhance interactions and educate them on self‑service options.
- Employ critical thinking and problem resolution skills to address client inquiries and challenges effectively.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
- Support nearby branch locations as business needs arise.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent; business management, finance, or related field required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience selling products and/or services in an incentive‑based environment, or 2+ years in financial services acquiring new client relationships and developing existing ones, required.
- 12+ months of successful Santander experience related to the role, endorsed by District Executive, District Operations Manager, and Region President, required.
- 12+ months of customer service experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, required.
- Motivated to help people achieve financial goals.
- Strong financial acumen with general knowledge of consumer and small business products, including lending.
- Proven track record in sales and cross‑selling products and services.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients effectively.
- Excellent communication, consultative, and influence skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using the phone and digital tools to engage customers.
- Credible, trustworthy, and professional image at all times.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑priority environment.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Able to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Established work history or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Base Pay Range –
Minimum $52,500.00 USD,
Maximum $87,500.00 USD.
