As Member Service Counselor – Registry, you will provide sales and service to members in the areas of membership, reservations, and other branch products and services both in-person and over-the-phone. In select states, you will provide registry services and ensure compliance and state regulations are met. The Member Service Counselor will achieve assigned standards for sales and referrals, recommend club products and services, and embody club mission and value statements with all interactions.

• Member Service: Develop comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered by AAA Northeast. Using this knowledge to promote membership sales, including upgrades, auto-renewal, digital membership, AAA credit card program, business line referrals and other club initiatives. Manage membership changes and assist members with any arising issues.
• Member Information: Deliver accurate and timely information to members regarding club products/services. Maintain department standards, servicing members in-person and over-the-phone, supporting club partnerships such as Registry Services and TSA.
• Registry & TSA Services: In select locations, provide registry services and/or TSA services, including handling confidential documents, inputting information into systems, processing license/ and registration renewals, reviewing applications for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Assistance & Planning: Provide assistance to members for accommodations and points of interest – mapping, routing, hotel and car reservations. Promote and assist with driving permits, passport photos, foreign currency, theme park tickets, entertainment tickets, and all other club products.
• Sales: Consistently meet or exceed minimum member satisfaction scores and related position goals.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of AAA Northeast products and use sales techniques to educate members on benefits and KPIs.
• Promotions & Initiatives: Keep up-to-date on branch promotions and initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve overall performance.
• Daily Operations & Liaison: Act as liaison with departments such as Travel, Insurance, Membership, Finance, IT, Member Relations to coordinate information and resolve issues.
• Policy Compliance: Perform duties per department policies, procedures, and practices, adhering to all safety protocols.

High School Diploma or GED. Required.

Customer Service with a focus in Sales. Required.

Satisfactorily pass state specific and federal background checks during pre- and post-hiring in accordance with state and federal requirements. Must meet individual state requirements to perform registry & TSA services including background checks and processes. Required.
