DESCRIPTION
:

Under directive supervision, assists employees of higher rating in the office and field. Under general supervision, design, assembles, prepares drawings and makes revisions on existing drawings and makes new drawings on difficult and complex projects. Performs related field checking. Instructs other employees in the work of this grade.

• Ability to work in the office or field.
• Must be familiar with the engineering practices associated with assigned projects and the Company’s construction practices and procedures as related to his/her grade of work.
• Must be able to organize and direct within his/her grade the progress of drafting projects to completion in accordance with prescribed practices.
• Must have demonstrated an interest and aptitude for higher grade drafting work.
• Must have at least three years’ experience as Drafting Technician Grade III – Pay Grade VIII or demonstrated ability in performing work.
• Must have demonstrated an interest and aptitude for handling complete assignments in connection with important drafting projects.
