Water Team and Projects
Our team of 160 dedicated water professionals has earned multiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards. We partner with private, state, and local government clients to enhance drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring reliable and sustainable systems for communities. Key project areas include new and upgraded conveyance systems, treatment plants, pump stations, hydraulic modeling, asset management, CSO control plans, wastewater management plans, integrated water resource management plans, and sewer system evaluations.
Responsibilities- Perform civil, water, and/or wastewater engineering design tasks, including developing drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for bidding and construction.
- Observe construction on municipal infrastructure projects for sewer, storm drain, water, and roads.
- Identify contractor conformance with design drawings and specifications.
- Measure installed quantities and review shop drawings.
- Coordinate with city staff and residents and prepare daily reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Passed the FE Exam or plan to pass by June 2026.
- Relevant experience through internships in surveying, engineering design, permitting, consulting, or construction observation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, intellectually curious, self‑motivated, and excellent organizational skills.
- Master’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or Solid Works.
- Understanding of hydraulic/hydrological studies and modeling.
- Compensation based on skills and experience; pay range: USD $61,883.00 – $81,222.00 /Yr.
- Annual salary: $74,464 for a bachelor’s graduate, $78,624 for a master’s graduate.
