Primary Responsibilities- Provide interior design advice, product expertise, and tile and stone selection assistance for customers.
- Log all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed preferences in CMT; communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure tracking, follow‑up, and sales closure; report monthly sales closures.
- Prospect new business with focus on custom builders and residential designers; make outside sales calls, follow leads, and drive growth.
- Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, order and receive models, ship customer examples, and coordinate with suppliers on product launches.
- Plan and host showroom tours, small and large events, and trade shows to build brand awareness.
- Work evening and weekend hours as needed.
- Four‑year degree in related field or two‑year degree with two years of experience.
- Competencies in sales/customer engagement, design, sketching, reading blueprints, Auto‑CAD, color coordination, interior design trends, and creative problem‑solving.
- Computer skills with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer management tools.
- Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Requires standing, using hands, reaching with arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; may sit, climb, or balance.
- Lifting up to 80 lbs; requires close and peripheral vision.
- May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, temperature extremes, and loud noise.
