Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, community hospital with a new emergency department, maternity center, women's imaging center, and ICU.

• Assist physicians during interventional radiological procedures.
• Support physicians, radiology technicians, and nurses in performing complex procedures.
• Coordinate daily activities within the Interventional Radiology Department.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following approved techniques and ALARA limits.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal views as requested.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Perform interventional procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist or Vascular Surgeon.
• Maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques.
• Follow radiation safety principles and practices.
• Use radiographic and computer systems effectively, including RIS and PACS.
• Manage time efficiently to optimize patient flow and department operations.

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience as a Radiology Technician.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• NJ Diagnostic Radiology License.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Preferred:

• 2+ years’ experience in Interventional or Cath lab.

Rate of pay depends on experience and education, including potential differentials and call pay.
