Join our team as a night shift, PRN, Telemetry Intermediate Care Stepdown (IMCU) Registered Nurse in Westwood, NJ.

This role is for a night shift PRN Telemetry RN in our Intermediate Care Stepdown (IMCU) unit, located at Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ. You will provide direct nursing care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused care.

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128‑bed, full‑service, acute‑care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state‑of‑the‑art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

• The Telemetry RN provides direct and continuous nursing care to adult patients who require cardiac monitoring due to acute or chronic conditions.
• This RN monitors telemetry rhythms, responds to cardiac changes, and collaborates with the care team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient‑focused care.
• The RN also plays a key role in patient education, health promotion, and discharge planning.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• 2+ years of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with 6 months or more in telemetry or a progressive unit.
• New Jersey RN License.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire (or transfer into the role) and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
