Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of recent IR experience.
Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit performing complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography and venography

• Day shift schedule with five 8-hour shifts per week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Utilizes Siemens imaging equipment, Epic EHR, and Change Healthcare PACS

• Patient population includes those requiring advanced vascular and interventional procedures

• Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, equipment operation and maintenance, contrast media administration, and patient monitoring

• Accurate record-keeping and adherence to radiation safety protocols are essential

• Position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical team

• Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are documented via transcripts

• No travel pairs or groups accepted

• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved, and no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation
Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (VI) or (CI) certification required

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in interventional radiology

• Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment, Epic EHR, and Change Healthcare PACS preferred

• Excellent technical and communication skills with strong patient care focus

• License required if applicable

• Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
