The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Grand Lodge of England (RAOB GLE) is looking for an Admin Assistant to work at our office in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. This is a temporary role for a six-month period pending a reorganisation of the office which may result in a permanent position becoming available. Pay Rate: £12.76 per hour Hours : 37 hour week (8:30am to 5:00pm Mon->Thu 4:30pm Fri) with one hour for lunch.

Overall responsibilities:
Working closely with other administrative staff. Providing cover for other admin staff when on leave or off sick. Working in accordance with our employee handbook. Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a good command of English, trustworthy, able to prioritise and to work with minimal supervision. You will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of our office. Tasks will include some, or all, of the following:
Basic book-keeping and use of Microsoft Office tools such as MS Teams, Word and Excel. Liaison with other administrative staff, dividing responsibilities to ensure that the office is manned during office hours. Dealing with phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc). Maintenance of database records with personnel, financial and other data. Tracking stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.

Reacting appropriately to established deadlines for any correspondence received. Assisting colleagues whenever necessary. Undertake any appropriate tasks allocated by your line manager. Requirements Previous experience as anadmin assistant or similar role is preferred. Good communication (in spoken & written English) and interpersonal abilities. Appropriate organizational skills. Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles is preferred. Knowledge of MS Office and a willingness to learn any other software in use at RAOB with appropriate training.
