A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a static commercial building in Wetherby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional environment offering excellent training, career progression, overtime opportunities, and a dedicated High Voltage training course.
What you'll do:- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the commercial building.
- Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control panels, and associated building services.
- Assist with High Voltage and Low Voltage switching duties, following site procedures and safety protocols.
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
- Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements.
- City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in an Electrical discipline.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Understanding of electrical distribution systems, with experience or knowledge of HV/LV switching desirable.
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to maintenance.
- £42,000 per annum salary
- Monday
- Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm - Static commercial building in Wetherby
