We are currently recruiting for a Spa Therapist at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

This role is being offered on a maternity‑cover temporary contract to start in October 2025 and run until November 2026.

One of the best luxury hotels in Wetherby, Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, is a beautiful award‑winning country house retreat promising peace and tranquillity with every stay. Originally built as a country retreat for the Scott family, the hotel in West Yorkshire is a world away from everyday stresses and pressures.

The hotel offers 44 stylishly‑designed bedrooms, an award‑winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant and a small health club and spa, renowned as one of the most luxurious spa venues in West Yorkshire. All of these attributes make Wood Hall Hotel the perfect destination for a romantic break, a family getaway or simply some rest, relaxation and pampering.

• As a Spa Therapist, you will help support the success of your team, feeling engaged and ready to consistently deliver exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
• You will be expected to deliver outstanding spa treatments and develop your knowledge to ensure you feel confident in providing positive recommendations for our guests.
• Mindfulness and well‑being is your top priority, so you will be passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure that all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind.
• Most of all we want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, working in a luxury 4‑/5‑star hotel spa environment is desirable for this role.
• It is essential you have current UK beauty therapy level 3 qualifications, and are confident in demonstrating these skills, able to carry out all treatments including facials, massage, nail and foot treatments including gel‑nail application. Ideally trained in using Elemis product house.
• Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation.
• You will be excellent at building rapport with guests, making them feel at home, relaxed and importantly identifying and creating magical memories at every possible opportunity.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to anticipate our guests’ needs and ensure they receive a Hand‑picked experience.
• Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests’ needs and create memories.

• A competitive salary package of £29,120 per year, plus a share of service charge and commission on retail sales.
• This is a full‑time role working 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
