Job description
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an energetic and proactive System Administrator to facilitate the development, configuration, and ongoing running of the business systems used within the company.
We are owned by a sizeable dynamic EdTech company that operates through a franchising business model, currently comprising of four education brands, with over 250 locations in 30 different countries.
As a System Administrator, you will work as a key team member of a global group that supports the smooth operation of systems as well as those of hundreds of franchisees in different countries. If you are enthusiastic about a career working with several IT systems and looking to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic organization, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include:
Configuration of MS applications to adapt to the different brandsConfiguration of Help Desk and CRM systems (Zendesk, MS Dynamics, etc.)Prompt support of final users of multiple platformsGeneration of periodical reportsIT-related Help Desk SupportAdditional Responsibilities:
Working closely with other members of the IT team and in coordination with vendors and suppliers, the candidate may be involved in other IT activities such as:
Update of databases of proprietary and 3rd party platformsMigration of systemsUpdates of versions of multiple systemsOther IT support requirements to ensure an efficient operation of the businessQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 3+ years experience in a support role or equivalent.Strong degree of computer literacy and understanding of IT systemsMicrosoft Office programs including Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Bookings, etc.Experience of working with Student Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, and Virtual Learning Environments (desirable)A base understanding of Database FundamentalsPrevious experience working in a customer-focused environment dealing with both internal and external stakeholdersExperience of supporting 3rd party and in-house developed applicationsAbility to work independently and as part of a global teamAbility to manage your own workload and meet deadlines (essential)Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English Language) as documentation processes will be requiredAble to work under pressure and meet deadlines, potentially including out of hours workingAble to offer 1st line IT support for Head OfficeAdditional Qualifications are a Plus:
The following qualifications will be desirable, but not essential, for this position:
Proficiency with a CRM platform (e.g. MS Dynamics or equivalent)Proven project management skillsFamiliarity with Word Press or equivalentFamiliarity with the education sectorFamiliarity with Franchising organizationsProficiency in Power BI or equivalentProficiency in SQL#J-18808-Ljbffr
