An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to step into a Head of Department role, working closely as second to the Commercial Property Partner
.
This position offers the chance to play a key strategic role within a growing Corporate/Commercial team, advising clients across the full spectrum of commercial property matters while supporting the continued development of the department.
Regular use of a car will be advantageous due to client and business development commitments.
The RoleYou will manage a broad and varied caseload of commercial property matters while contributing to leadership, supervision and business growth initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling a wide range of commercial property transactions
- Managing your own caseload effectively using the case management system
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to develop an active pipeline of work
- Delivering exceptional client service tailored to a varied client base
- Supporting and supervising colleagues within the team
- Working closely with the Commercial Property Partner on departmental growth and strategy
- 5–9 years’ PQE in Commercial Property
- Strong previous commercial property experience (essential)
- Commercially aware with high professional integrity
- Excellent communication skills and approachable manner
- Proven ability to generate and maintain client relationships
- Strong analytical skills with a practical, risk-based approach
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems (Partners for Windows experience desirable)
- Law degree or equivalent qualification preferred
