Warehouse Team Manager - Lates

About the role

The job holder will ensure smooth management of the warehouse operation, with responsibility for the delivery of cost, service, compliance, and people KPIs – in line with company and legal standards and requirements.

Responsibility for the warehouse day shift with a support and deputy role for Warehouse Logistics Manager as required.

• Optimise labour and resources to deliver productivity and cost targets
• Ensure accurate, high-quality inbound goods and investigate stock variances
• Deliver operational plans (daily/weekly/monthly) to meet customer and business needs
• Maintain strong communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Drive operational improvements, including layout changes and performance optimisation
• Ensure full compliance with quality, legal, and Health & Safety standards, including audits
• Manage, develop, and train team members while addressing performance and people issues
• Lead by example—creating a safe, positive environment and continuously improving operations

• Experience in a management role within a fast moving and changing work environment such as FMCG or logistics
• Experienced in managing, developing, and inspiring teams
• Management Qualification – desirable
• IOSH Managing Safely – desirable
• Proficient in MS Office Suite – essential
• TM CPC – desirable
