The Role As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities may include:
Driving a Class 1 vehicle 1–2 return trunking runs between Wetherby and Sunderland each night. Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting Delivering goods safely, professionally and on time Following all Road Transport, Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulations Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately What We're Looking For We are looking for candidates that have good timekeeping, a strong understanding of road transport regulations and a safety-focused approach to driving.

You should be able to work independently, communicate effectively with the transport team and complete deliveries efficiently. To be considered for this role, you will need: A valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence A minimum of 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experience A valid UK Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) A valid Digital Tachograph Card A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points, however applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
