In this role, you won’t just reconcile accounts — you’ll help shape decisions. You’ll bring precision, insight, and innovation to our accounting processes, ensuring our books are balanced, our reporting is reliable, and our strategies are built on a rock‑solid foundation.

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closings with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analyses that inform strategic decisions.
• Reconcile accounts, monitor controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting with actionable insights.
• Work closely with the Controller and other departments to support financial goals.
• Mentor junior staff and help strengthen the team’s capabilities.
• Support automation and system enhancements that make our processes smarter and faster.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
• Contribute to audits, tax reporting, and internal controls that keep us compliant and confident.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience (financial institution or credit union experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
