Entry Level Automotive Technician - Wethersfield, CT

Overview

Entry Level Automotive Technician – Wethersfield, CT. You will gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

• Mount and balance tires
• Perform oil changes and basic preventative maintenance
• Assist with additional automotive services under guidance
• Demonstrate guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting of tires and wheels as needed

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions
• Commitment to learning new technologies in the automotive industry
• Commitment to following safety policies and procedures
• Preferred:
  High School Diploma or GED
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training is a plus

• Competitive base pay ranging from $16.00 - $18.00/hr, with variation based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location
