Instrumentation and Controls Engineer - Intermediate (Data Centers)
We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who will design and optimize control systems for data center projects. You will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, provide on-site assistance during startup, and coordinate work with other staff and discipline leads.
Responsibilities- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document model design information.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Coordinate on-site startup activities and support other project members.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world‑class solutions for new facilities.
- Produce control system designs for various processes and develop optimizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with instrumentation and control.
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Experience working with Data Centers.
- Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
Base salary range: $69,500 to $95,500 per year, adjusted for location and experience. Comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401(k), and company stock‑option plans available. Unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off policy, paid holidays, floating holiday, and caregiver leave.
