As a CAD Designer, you will perform design/drafting assignments, requiring advanced working knowledge of design standards, practices and techniques using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Map 3D while working collaboratively in a global team environment.

We are seeking an innovative CAD Designer to help us grow and deliver electrical transmission, distribution and renewable generation projects in North America.

• Setup projects in CAD, coordinate data sources and manage user access.
• Provide CAD leadership and production support for project teams, including Project Execution Plan documentation, project kick‑off meetings, file exports and client deliverable coordination.
• Work with a diverse team of designers, engineers, scientists, and GIS professionals to meet client needs as a cohesive unit.
• Partner with global teams to create the best project outcomes by maximizing design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification.
• At least 8 years’ experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD Map 3D.
• Advanced experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Project Wise PLS‑CADD, and ArcGIS a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with civil design projects using data from topographic surveys, DTMs, grading, and utility layouts.
• Proficiency with general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams).
• Ability to work independently and with various disciplines to manage multiple tasks and projects, as well as anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner.

• Knowledge of the energy industry.
• Understanding of project workflows from concept, detailed design, estimation, bidding, to construction documentation, administration, and support.
• Autodesk Certified Professional.
