Fall Youth Soccer Coach

Are you a current or former soccer player? Are you passionate about the sport of soccer and want a role in youth soccer coaching? We have a spot for you!

Soccer XS is a youth training support company that aids the development of youth soccer clubs throughout the northeast, and primarily across the state of Connecticut. Prior to the Fall 2025 Youth Soccer Season, we are looking to hire a few more coaches to join our team, and help develop the next generation of soccer stars.

Ideal candidates are located within a 30 minute commute of a town listed above.

Position Responsibilities:

• Aid parent coaches in training their youth travel teams.
• Engage and interact with children ages 10-15 in a fun and outgoing manner.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for young athletes.
• Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and responsibility when interacting with players and their families.
• Be able to create and use age-appropriate soccer activities to engage players for a full session.
• Be able to adapt to the Youth Soccer Coach role as it shifts slightly depending on the season and program you are assigned to.
• Competitive youth coach
• Camps and clinic coach
• Small group and private training coach

What do we need from you?

• A background and passion for soccer
• USSF or USC soccer coaching qualified coaches are preferred. If you are unlicensed but come with soccer experience, we will pay for you to attain your first online coaching license.
• Able to reliably commit to a couple of evenings a week for practices and/or Saturday mornings for games.
• An outgoing and enthusiastic personality and the ability to create a positive and fun environment for young players
• Pass a background check
• You must be based locally in CT or MA and be legal to work in the US (we don’t provide US work VISA’s)
• Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle to reliably commute within a 20-mile radius / 30-minute drive to programs.
• Preferred candidates should have previous soccer coaching experience. Ideally all candidates should have experience working with children in some capacity.

What you’ll get from us:

• Competitive Pay: $22 - $50 per hour. Pay is hourly and the pay rate is based on coaching role, qualifications and experience.

• This opportunity is for experienced youth soccer coaches, however there are roles open to candidates who may be new to coaching soccer and are looking to get started in the industry
